Capitol Cryo launched in 2017 with a passion to help others with a simple, fast and effective form of therapy to reduce pain and inflammation and minimize recovery time from muscle fatigue or injury.

We are a family owned and operated business drawing on a modern view of health, wellness and spirit. Our aim is to enhance our clients quality of life, whether they’ve come to us for overall well being, to address a medical or physical condition, perform better in sports, or to look and feel younger and healthier!

Our Team

Tanah Lines - Owner

Hi, I’m Tanah, the owner of Capitol Cryo, a role I’ve proudly held for the past six years.

I entered the aesthetics and wellness industry in 2013 when I became a licensed esthetician, and continued advancing my education to become an advanced esthetician in 2015. From the very beginning, I was drawn to this field because of its unique ability to blend science, results, and human connection — helping people feel confident, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin.

What I love most about my work is witnessing the positive transformations our clients experience, both physically and emotionally. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone gain confidence as they progress through their treatments. Equally important to me is the strong sense of teamwork we cultivate at Capitol Cryo. I genuinely enjoy bonding with our team members, setting clear goals together, and watching us consistently rise to meet and exceed them. Creating a supportive, motivated environment where both clients and staff can thrive is something I take great pride in.

Outside of the spa, I’m a mom to two wonderful kids, ages 3 and 8, who keep life full and busy in the best way. When I have time to recharge, I love working out, traveling, thrift shopping, learning new sports, and spending time boating. These passions help keep me energized and inspired, both personally and professionally. At Capitol Cryo, my mission is to create a space where confidence, growth, and genuine care come together — for our clients, our team, and our community.

HannaH Schmidt - Manager

I’ve been part of the Capitol Cryo family since September 2020. I started at the front desk as a part-time receptionist and stepped into a management role in 2021. Over the years, my role has grown into supporting both our clients and our team while helping keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes.

I’m involved in a lot of the day-to-day operations at Capitol Cryo, including client communication, scheduling, programs, systems, and administrative work. I truly enjoy customer service and take pride in creating a welcoming, organized experience for everyone who walks through our doors. I love helping things run efficiently so our clients feel cared for and our team feels supported.

In 2024, I graduated from aesthetic school and bring a hands-on understanding of treatments to my leadership role. With a background in massage therapy, I approach care from a whole-body perspective, helping clients navigate pain, inflammation, recovery, and aesthetic goals in a way that feels thoughtful and realistic.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to three girls (ages 1, 3, and 5) who keep life busy and full. I value time with my family, staying involved in my church community, and leading with faith, kindness, and purpose. At Capitol Cryo, I’m committed to supporting our clients, our team, and the heart of the business.

Kristen Colvin - Lead Esthetician

Hi! I'm Kristen!

Lead Esthetician at Capitol Cryo. I graduated from esthetics school in 2022 and began my journey with Capitol Cryo right away. I truly love helping people uncover the best version of themselves. Working in a medispa environment allows me to combine results-driven treatments with personalized care, creating confidence from the inside out. Every day, I get to support clients in their wellness and aesthetic goals, and that’s something I never take for granted. Outside of the spa, I’m a proud mom of three who values an active, balanced lifestyle. Whether I’m running, at the gym, or chasing life with my kids, movement and growth are a big part of who I am. My mission is to guide people toward their best selves, physically, mentally, and confidently, while growing alongside my clients and fostering positive, lasting change.

Elisabeth Jones - Advanced Aesthetician

Elisabeth Jones is a licensed Advanced Aesthetician and proud mother of two. She first joined the Capitol Cryo team in 2021 as a basic aesthetician, where her dedication to skin health and client care quickly became evident. When she left Capitol Cryo to pursue advanced aesthetics schooling, she also began her journey into motherhood—balancing education, career growth, and family life.

After earning her advanced aesthetics license, Elisabeth spent two years teaching aesthetics, gaining a strong foundation in skin science, technique, and education. This experience sharpened her attention to detail and deepened her understanding of advanced treatments. She has since returned to Capitol Cryo as an Advanced Aesthetician, bringing both hands-on expertise and a thoughtful, educated approach to client care.

Elisabeth is passionate about creating personalized treatment plans and helping clients feel confident, supported, and informed every step of the way.
